TECH: Copying picture into word file

Thanks to everyone who sent help and suggestions.  As most everyone
suggested, we had to save the image and then insert.  What gave us a
difficult time was that the images would not save at first.  This is what
worked:
Click on Save Picture as
File name came up with jpg
Type in bmp where the jpg was
Then click on Save as type : bmp
The image was saved
Then we could open word and Insert picture from file.

My daughter was able to finish her Power Point project with this method.  She
saved her work to a floppy and happily went to school.  Imagine her surprise
when the floppy wouldn't open!  Her file was too big and the floppy only held
half of her file.  She had to come home and put it on a CD.
