Security system - quick response please

Hi List,
I have been nagging my district for a security system so long and ...they
actually have said - YES!

Now, I need to do the deed!  Anyway, I am trying to figure out how long it
will take ($18,000 books), whether or not I should close the library for the
duration (High School 9-12 library), whether I should open the library but
disallow circulation, or should I allow usage (and circulation) of books by
section, while others are cordoned off?  It's all new to me.

We will be using the 3m applicator and the R2 tattletapes.  I hope to garner
a volunteer committee and train them.  I will not be working during the
summer months for personal reasons.

How many people can apply the strips at one time, if the applicator machine
is used?

Any one out there who has done this fairly recently using the same system,
please point me in the right direction.  You can respond to my e-mail
directly (as below).
