Target: Checkpoint detuning tags

We have our Checkpoint security system installed and now are trying to
figure out where to put the targets. We are using the little date due
stickers as detuners. Putting the targets in the pockets is not an
option. Here's what I thought I would do-- would any of you with some
experience let me know if this would work-- I can't see any reason why it
wouldn't but I would hate to have to rip stuff apart. I thought that we
would put the target in the inside cover underneath/opposite the barcode
label. We would then put the date due detuning sticker over the barcode.
It will stick well there, comes off without leaving goo, doesn't directly
point to the target-- and I'm not likely to forget to remove it. ( In
addition the kids think there is some connection between the circ system
and the security system so that will reinforce that idea too. Will this
work or am I missing something?
