Colleagues,

If you have not been following the "progress" of the proposed FCC Rules
Change that will allow even greater ownership concentration in the mass
media you might want to read the interviews Bill Moyers has held with FCC
Commissioner Michael Copps on "NOW" on  PBS.

What Copps had to say, and how most of the federal government is responding
to him on this bi-partisan issue, sends chills down this librarian's spine.

Go to www.pbs.org. Enter "Copps" in the search box. You will find a number
of hits. His last interview on "NOW" was broadcast May 2nd in my area.
