Hers are summations of the responses I received on the magazine inquire. Thrasher: The consensus opinion held that Thrasher may be unacceptable in a school Pictures and language are mature, ads and articles questionable. New York Times Upfront: Most like NYT Upfront for content and age appropriateness. It was describes as a "Weekly Reader" for teens. It is most often used in classrooms for current events. Doesn't get much circulation or use in the library. Teen Ink: The literary magazine for teens. May not serve as leisure reading, but a good avenue for kids to get thier writings published. I had no feedback on Billboard, JAZZIZ, or Hit Parader.
