I had a child bring me back the EMPTY covers of a book, dripping wet (it was in her BACKPACK) and the parent refuses to pay for it. Unfortunately, this is a kindergarten parent; what do I do next year? Do I continue to not allow the child to check out books? I wish I had an answer for you.
