Can we discuss the little bit of reality Boston Public addressed in its =
last two episodes concerning budget cuts?=20

While I see it happening here in Texas, I know it is also happening in =
Massachusetts, California and every other state. I loved the reality in =
that all the teachers were stressed out and wondering if their name was on =
"the list." I thought it was great when the principal had a news conference=
to announce doing away with sports rather than teachers which are the =
"heart of the school." He called on the sports star's dad and his company =
to fund sports if they wanted it.=20

While I wanted to cheer, I also wanted to say "get real!" That would never =
happen here, but it was nice to see priorities put into perspective, even =
in fiction.
