Gen: How to write a "book report" that cannot be plagairized

For younger students:

Pretend you are a character in this book and write a letter to Dear Abby
asking for advice on how to handle the situation that has emerged in the
book.

My son had an assignment like this in 3rd grade. The focus was fairy tales.
The letter did not have to be long, but my son always tries to make his
writings as short as possible. The book he chose was The Emperor's  New
Clothes.

His letter: "Dear Abby. I find I am walking around the village with no
clothes. I think I am sexually harassing the village."

I keep thinking of this particular fairy tale when trying to deal with
filtering in schools issue. Hmm. Maybe I should write a letter to Dear Abby.
