ELEM: Summer Reading Program

I would like some ideas about sponsoring a summer reading program during =
summer school this.  Any suggestions, good experiences, ideas or =
obstacles would be appreciated.  Summer school in my building will be =
for 1st graders and 2nd graders (next year).  Summer school is three =
different sessions running 3 weeks each.
