We have been trying to find a small 2-4 slot acrylic (anything see
through) holder to place bookmarks in on our check out desk.=20

STAPLES:
1) They come in a few sizes but the smallest can hold about 2 rows of
bookmarks across.
2) I bought a table/desk top acrylic see thru letter slotted holder =

works
well.
