I listen to the Bob and Tom show, who were discussing a Latin dictionary with new words added for items that didn't exist in Roman times. I checked up on it (it's wise to check all "news" you hear on Bob and Tom) and this is for real. Of course, Bob and Tom started to make up new words. This was their suggestion for "surfing the net": "lookum for freeum pornoum" Not that you would use that! But the news article I found on Voice of America said they were putting in words for computer terms, so if you can get hold of the Vatican's new Latin-Italian dictionary they probably have an "official" Latin for surfed.
