I have to write a justification (actually a Freeze Exemption) to keep = the tech support for our library automation system (Winnebago Spectrum). = This is being done at the state level--the tech person here agrees we = need the support. I am having difficulty thinking of all the reasons for tech support. = What I have so far: 1. Sagebrush Corp. is the sole source for tech support for Winnebago = Spectrum (otherwise the state will require three bids).=20 2. Cannot get tech support without paying the yearly fee--there is no = per hour charge. 3. We have had at least three major problems that required calling tech = support this year--one so serious it could have potentially caused a = loss of circulation and cataloging data. If anyone can think of any other reasons to maintain tech support, I'd = appreciate it. Thank you for your assistance.
