School Board thinks I'm paid too much

I need some help=2E  While I have a job for next year, there is a possibil=
ity
that the following year=20
(my tenure year at this school) I may not receive tenure=2E  The reason fo=
r
this is not that I am=20
not doing a good job, nor is it that the superintendent doesn't like me=2E=
=20
The sole reason is that=20
the School Board thinks that $50,000 a year for a media specialist is too
much and that=20
certainly they could hire someone for a beginning salary (here it's
$30,000!) and get the same=20
quality=2E

My question is how do I get them to understand that experience counts and
that a first year=20
media specialist (no offense to those of you out there) can not offer the
same expertise that I=20
offer and that their children deserve the best?

I really don't want to look for another job=2E  I like this school and the=

teachers are coming to me=20
for advice, etc=2E -- just like it's supposed to be!
