Each of us should copy this message (law); send it to our state lawmakers and request that they put this on the books, too! In budget crunch times like this, maybe this would help with some of the money (textbook and library) we are spending to replace items we've already purchased! It's worth a try! lm Lynette "LYNN" Mitchell Media Specialist Citrus County Schools Crystal River High School 1205 NE 8th Ave. Crystal River, FL 34428 Phone: (352) 795-4641 Ext: 271 Fax: (352) 795-4519 EMAILS: work: MitchellL@citrus.k12.fl.us home: JoMomma@TampaBay.RR.com business: ChefLynn@TampaBay.RR.com Future Director and Pampered Chef Consultant -----Original Message----- From: Webster Ava [mailto:AWebster@LPS.K12.CO.US] Sent: Friday, May 16, 2003 1:42 PM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: GEN: Kids paying for books - it's now the state law in Colorado This amendment concerning school board powers was signed into Colorado law on May 2nd: SECTION 1. 22-32-110 (1) (jj), Colorado Revised Statutes, is amended to read: 22-32-110.
