Dear Floridians, =20 I currently hold a valid teaching certificate for the state of Florida (I used to teach in Dade county) I moved to Nicaragua, and I have been taking courses on-line with Connecticut State University, Information and Library Science program. SACS (southern Association of Colleges and Schools) is the association that gives the school it=92s certification, they demand the LMS has earned 24 credit hours in Library Science (which I am about to complete). From the Dept of Ed. Web site, I have information that LMS in Fl need 30 credit hours and then what? Is there a subject test I need to take? Phone calls are difficult from here (long-distance and all) I believe there is an exemption rule or something? Can you help and advice on the best steps to follow. The web site has some information but I know there are always = insider=92s tips to follow. :-) =20 =20 Thank you in advance for your assistance.=20 =20 =20 =20 Roberta Z.
