Hello, I have a money question for you guys. My library collects money every day from different sources. For example, we charge 5 cents a day for overdue books. We also collect money for lost books and sell pens and pencils. We charge 10 cents for copies. On any given day, we can collect up to $10, sometimes more. My question has to do with security. Is there anyone out there with a security plan for the money they keep in the library? Do you keep it locked up at all times? I'm in a middle school and right now it's just out in the open for anyone to access. We have a money drawer but no lock. It's almost impossible to watch at all times, and so theoretically any mischievous character can walk off with the money. Can you give me some ideas on how to prevent this? Thanks!
