REF: looking for story WALLACE

This is a request from a local media specialist. Please respond to her.

We are looking for a copy of a short story called WALLACE about the
friendship between two boys -- one who struggles in school, one who is a
genius. The story was in an anthology but the teacher can not remember the
title of the anthology or the author of the short story.

give a lead so that we may order multiple copies. We have tried SHORT
STORY index with no luck.
