Hi all,

Having resented and whined for years about the administration shutting down
the library for Statewide testing (WASL here in Washington State) I finally
started thinking outside the box and my student assistants and I did
inventory during this time. Now they have another job skill for their
resumes and I have time between the end of inventory (5/9) and the end of
the year (6/20) to either replace the missing items, track them down, pray
to the book gods, etc...

Seems to be a good use of time, etc...

"It is known that knowledge is power, and power is energy, and energy is
matter, and matter is mass, and therefore large accumulations of knowledge
distort time and space. This is why all bookshops look alike, and why all
second-hand bookshops seem so much larger on the inside - and why all
libraries, everywhere, are connected"
