Once again, my principal has given me a "task" to complete and I seek =

Next year, my school is adding a new class into the seventh grade =
Unified Arts wheel. During each marking period (ten weeks) of their =
Unified Arts period, students will take either Art, Home Ec, Tech Ed, or =
Typing, the newly added course. However, the administration does not =
want this course to be just typing, but instead, a computer class where =
skills are directly taught. Currently, our computer curriculum is =
embedded into subject area curriculum; teachers "integrate" computer =
skills into projects, etc. It is the goal of this "typing" course to =
give every seventh grade student equal access and exposure to various =
computer skills. =20
I was wondering if any of your schools have such a course in existence. =
Is it possible for you to email or fax me a copy of the curricululm of =
this ten week computer class or give me a contact person? It would help =
us greatly to have a model from which to develop our scope and sequence.
I appreciate any input you may have.
