Hello, I already have a teaching license in Minnesota, USA and an M. Ed. I'm hoping to earn my Masters in Library Science in the next two years. I am currently teaching overseas and am having trouble getting the information I need. I know that you probably can not give me the official answer to these questions, but I hope some of you can shed light on them. 1. If I get my MLS in Australia, can I teach with it in the US? 2. Is there a Canadian or Australia counterpart to the ALA and is their certifcation recognized in the US? 3. If you are currently a Minnesota school media specialists, did you have to take the Praxcis (sp?) and will taking that make it easier for me to get an out-of-state or out-of- the-country degree accepted by the State Board of Teaching? Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give.
