We have a book group at school (adults and a mix of certificated and
classified)...Favorites from this past year include Standing in the
Rainbow by Fannie Flagg; Letters from Home...forgot the author, but it
is letters from a gal who during WWII was a 'donut and coffee girl' for
the Red Cross. We also read Willa Cather's My Antonia, a classic! There
are others, but these are the ones that stand out in my foggy Monday,
er, make that Tuesday morning!
