I just really enjoyed:

"Full House" and "Full Tilt" by Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes.

Above average reads.  But, NOT for your school collection.
Better than the "One...", "Two...", "Three..." ..."Hot Six"
series...at least as far as I was concerned.  I enjoyed them
but "Full House" really delighted me.  Great humor.  The main
female protaganist, is a 6th grade teacher! And the voice is
almost exclusively hers.  These took my mind off of end of
year "will I get it all done" concerns, nicely.  Again.
NOT for your school collections.
