My administrator informed my para-pro and myself that the budget crisis
has forced them to abolish her position for next year. At that moment I
said I would probably retire. No hard feelings, but with my added
responsibilities (No Child Left Unharmed, etc.) and no clerical help,
Slept on it over the weekend, and handed the official "I quit" letter
Tuesday.
I had a great year and wanted to leave with a good taste in my mouth.
Only one concern: health insurance. Anybody want to donate to my
Parsons' Fund?
