TARGET: Digital cameras and laptop computers

If your school has digital cameras and laptop computers that get checked =
out during the school year, what are your rules for checking them out =
over the summer, if at all?  We are trying to decide how to handle this. =
 Our first thought is to just not allow checkouts and keep everything =
safe in the building over the summer.  But then we thought this might be =
a little too stringent.  What are your thoughts?  I will post a hit with =
all your answers.  Please reply to me directly.  Thank you for your =
