Thanks to everyone who responded. My personal favorite was the one at Atomic Learning. http://www.atomiclearning.com/freemacosx.shtml?166;1054413257 Gail I think you can find a few items on this page that may work....... http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Systems/Apple/Macintosh/FAQs,_Help,_and_Tutorials/Mac_OS_X/ or use the tinyurl version.......... http://tinyurl.com/cpp5 I have not taught others how to use OS X, but have found TEACH YOURSELF VISUALLY from Wiley Publications to be my personal Bible. I have not looked at the CD that Apple sent to teachers last winter if they requested the free upgrade to OS X. I do have a set somewhere and will look for it if you think it would be helpful. I've just received a series of CDs on Mac X --Excel X, Word X and Excel X. Each is a series of three CDs called MacAcademy. There is a website on the CD, macademy.com and a phone number (386-677-1918). No one here has used them since OSX hasn't been loaded yet so I can't speak to there usefulness. Check Atomic Learning -- http://atomiclearning.com Which version of OS X? For 10.2, Apple made tutorials. If teachers used their great deal to get 10.2 at the teacher price last year (it was either free or really cheap--- I did it but don't remember the price), they received the tutorials for free on CD-ROM. I have the CD but haven't had a chance to look at it. If you are a Mac.com member, the tutorials are also available on the website to those members. I haven't found great ones for OS 10.1. There were some at Atomic Learning, but they may have disappeared when 10.2 came out. -- Gail Shea Grainger Librarian, Chesterfield School, Chesterfield, NH K-12 Web site cataloged by Dewey Decimal Classification http://www.deweybrowse.org ggrainger@deweybrowse.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
