Hello, One of my teachers asked me this, and I wouldn't mind being pointed in the right direction if you've advice on where to locate this info. "Africans from the continent and African Americans are grouped together when U.S. statistical information is done. For California, is there a 'break out group' noting the number of Africans living in the Bay Area? Where can I find local and national statistics on the number of Africans immigrating (legally or illegally) to the United States and Northern California/Bay Area?" I found RAND California, Population and Demographic Statistics http://ca.rand.org/stats/popdemo/immmetroUS.html but I just googled many combinations of search terms till I found that and I am convinced there must be a better strategy.........
