and opinions of men who fought in past wars: Viet Nam,
Korea, World War II. For these men, war was a painful even devastating
experience, but a rite of passage they took on as citizens of
the United States.
Watching their faces, listening to their words and the emotions they
convey, viewers gain a new awareness of the spirit that unifies
every generation of Americans.
