Elem: Library math idea

Copyright math is what I call my library math program. Each week =
students in grade 3 and 4 use calculators to figure out how old the =
copyrights are for the books they are checking out. Sometimes we try to =
see who has the oldest copyright, the copyright that is the same as =
their age etc. Students must show the complete written work on paper. I =
use scrap paper that has been cut in quarters. Students must show me 3 =
copyright math problems to receive points for their team. Volunteers are =
very helpful in checking students work while I help students choose =
books to check out.
