The library and computer instruction programs in our school district are
being examined for potential areas of savings.=A0 We would like to find
out from other school districts in California how their programs (if
any) are staffed and presented.

1.=A0 =A0 What staffing is on site at the elementary level for library
services and instruction?=A0 What staffing is on site at the elementary
level for computer services and instruction?=A0 What are the
qualifications or classifications of these positions?

2.=A0 =A0 Who provides instruction in the two areas of information literacy
and computer literacy (research and technology) to meet State
standards?=A0 Is this instruction provided in scheduled classes in the
library or lab, or is the schedule flexible?

3.=A0 =A0 What staffing is at the District level for library and computer
services and instruction?=A0 What are the qualifications or
classifications of these positions?=A0 What are the roles of these people
in providing library and computer services to students and teachers?

4.=A0 =A0 What funding is used to support any of these programs?
