I've been reading this discussion with interest. I am trying something
radical next week: selling all discards for twenty-five cents per
volume. Also I plan to sell "gifts" that are too old in subject matter
for a K-8 school. I figure that paying for the books adds a value not
present if I tried to give them away.
I'll let you know what happens.
