ELEM: looking for a book requested by a teacher, very specific

Teacher is looking for a picture book like Dr. DeSoto but does not want Dr. D. 
because she just read it to class. Wants maybe 3 or a few more distinct characters 
for a 1st grade lesson on adjectives. She will read them the story and then they 
will use descriptive words to describe the several characters. They will then read 
out their descriptive words and the other students will try to guess which 
character is being described.
I am drawing a blank right now (end of a long day)
