I am still working on the list that I requested suggestions for in
September. It is almost finished.
One glitch. The teacher would like to include the book The Perfect
Storm, but I have searched every database we subscribe to, plus our NY
state databases and cannot locate any news stories from 1991 (when the
event happened) about the ship: the Andrea Gail, and the storm. We
want to use real news articles from that time, not articles that refer to
the tragedy while publicizing the movie.
Any ideas for locating this one? The only thing I can think of is to
contact the community where the ship was based. It is probably only in
the local newspaper.
