I want to be sure that everyone is aware of the Texas Library Association's Dia de los Ninos/Dia de los Libros mini-grants. As part of a grant from the Kellogg Foundation, TLA is working to expand awareness of and participation in Dia celebrations by offering 30 mini-grants to start up or expand Dia celebrations in Texas. Eligible applicants are school (public and private)libraries and public libraries. Visit http://www.texasdia.org/ for the application and details. Forthcoming is a toolkit and other resources to help establish celebrations. I realize that the grant is only applicable to Texas libraries but the resources are available to anyone. More resources will be forthcoming. Feel free to pass this on to others who might be interested. I also apologize for any duplication of messages. ===== Jeanette Larson Youth Services Manager Austin Public Library P.O.
