OFF-TOPIC-->Writing Club Ideas Needed

Hi, All-

Some of my students have asked me to take on sponsorship of our Writing =
Club
second semester when my academic coaching duties finish up. I've already
seen some excellent ideas on the list for competitions and publications =
for
student writing, but I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for =
activities
that we can do at our meetings.=20

I'm thinking along the lines of offering the beginnings of short stories =
and
having them write endings, bringing in art works and music and asking =
them
to write poetry based on what those make them feel, and (of course) =
having
them read aloud their writings for others to hear. But I suspect there =
are
some additional/better ideas out there. Any suggestions would be
appreciated, and I'll post a hit.
