Re: Error in text of book, again....

Thanks to all of you for your mail - I will be contacting Lucent, in writing,
regarding the response I received, as well as Gale.  I'm sure they will be
more professional.

But to continue the saga -
The plot thickens - the error is on page 47 of the book "The 1990s" by Stuart
Kallen, part of the series entitled "a cultural history of the United States
through the decades." I, originally, had seen the ereror in the text -
"killing two, injuring three hundred". (It should read: killing 6, injuring over a
thousand)
In discussing this with someone today, I noticed that, in the caption under
the photo on that same page, it says "left two people dead and two hundred
wounded".

On the same page, they not only had wrong information TWICE, they had
conflicting wrong information!!!!!

Their editors are not doing their job.....
They will hear from me.....
