Personal: 50th birthday words of wisdom

Dear LM_NET buddies,
I have a dear friend who is celebrating her 50th
birthday on October 18th (so time is of the essence
here). For my birthday she gave me a kit to make an
oriental style accordian book. I would like to make
this book and then fill it with quotes, poems etc for
her fiftieth birthday. Perhaps even leave a blank page
or two for other party guests to write messages.

I need some help in finding/choosing appropriate
materials. I knew this was the group to ask.

This is a very special person to me. She was there
when my second son was born, she was the one I went to
when my mother was dying (she fed me chocolate and
Diet Pepsi that day ;) ), and I helped her plan her
son's Bar Mitvah weekend parties. This HAS to be a
special gift to let her know how much this friendship
means to me.
