I just received a phone call from the regional person here
in the SW - the name escapes me since I have had computer
problems all morning. I'm not sure where the confusion
came from but it seems a lot of misinformation was
communicated. Although I am still going to seek other book
fair info, I am much more confident about what Scholastic
is and is not changing. We CAN still give teacher
discounts and chose books from the shelves to take from
our book percentage. But we cannot give teachers who do
wishlist and have their classes watch the video an extra
$5 to $10 off their books which we never did in the first
place. The Bonanza books is meant to be used as incentives
NOT to replace I formerly chose from the shelves.
