Hello I have a friend hoping to become a teacher in Oregon and then eventually a librarian. She has a B.A. is Biology and has been doing field work for the past 7 years. She's not originally from OR but has lived there and now wants to make it her home. Is there an alternative certification program or will she have to return to school for a teaching certificate? Do you have any recommended websites? She lives in the Medford area but would be happy to move to Portland or anywhere else. Will she need to teach for a few years before becoming a librarian (after getting her MLS, too, of course)? Thanks for any help Jeny Burrell, librarian Colony Meadows Elementary School Sugar Land, Texas libraryjeny@yahoo.com --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
