Help: Lesson plan suggestions

Hi all,

I am a new elementary school librarian with one major hurdle.  Our
school's library is under construction, therefore, I will be pushed into
the classrooms all year.  My problem is coming up with various activities,
lessons, read alouds, etc to do with the students for the school entire
YEAR.  I have thought about going around to teachers and asking them what
they would like for me to work on with their students.  However, any other
suggestions about what to do or a resource that I can use, would be
greatly appreciated.
