I just talked to my Scholastic Rep and requested that they not send all
of they expensive, cheap junk. She just said that I didn't have to put
it out so that must not be an option. It would make my life much easier
because I don't have storage space that people can't get at to take
the junk.
I wonder if they realize how stressful a bookfair is in schools that
have no help to run it. I don't think that they care. Last year I
refused to book another fair. I got a couple of calls offering me all
kinds of rewards if I did. So maybe everyone should try that.
BookFairs are a very stressful time in my library. I love my job but
not Bookfairs.
