I have to get in on this one since I'm reading all this amazing stuff.=20

If the rules are not enforced, why have them??? I can't function within
a school that is run this way. If we aren't enforcing the codes for
teachers, I assume the codes for the students aren't enforced either.
So, why have them?=20

I would have a hard time enforcing the rules with my daughter if the
school is lax with the staff.=20

I have to say that I was amazed at teachers being required to wear hose!
We
do have a dress code that doesn't allow jeans, but it is not enforced.
We
wear jeans on Friday.  During the hot months (April, May, July, August,
September) we wear capri (right about the ankle) pants, sandals, and
sleeveless tops.  We don't wear hose unless the weather is cool enough
to
need the warmth.  It gets very hot here in central Alabama.  Gotta love
"Alabama!"
