Can anyone please help me identify this poem (selected lines below):

He was an immense man, with gentle hands,
Standing tall at six foot four,
Though terrifying when mad, we knew better of dad
As he stood illuminated at our door
The grin on his face, got rid and replaced,
Any dread of being in trouble
And with a book in his arms, we dropped all alarm,
And fear turned to excitement and doubled

. . . . At the end of my bed, as he sat and he read,
My mind wandered a far,
To utopias grand, and outlying lands,
As infinite as the stars,
To the depths of the sea, my brother and me,
Would travel as though Lewis and Clark,
Seeing many sights, fighting gallant fights,
With well-timed, clever remarks

etc., etc.

Thanks for any info you can give.
