To all, As a newly minted MLIS, I have been lurking on this fine listserv for over a year and can't tell you how much I have learned from the discussions posted herein. While searching for a school media position, I am currently working as a Children's librarian in a local public library. A patron came in yesterday looking for a children's book from the 70's containing a picture of a boat sinking into the sea and a subsequent image of a butterfly rising out of the water. Does this ring any bells for any of you out there? Although her description was met with no recognition from my colleagues, I assured her that the collective wisdom of this listserv will come up with the title. I have great confidence that the answer lies out there somewhere and you will provide me with it. Thanks so much in advance, Margaret Smith Children's Librarian Longwood Public Library Middle Island, NY polecats@optonline.net =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
