The interesting thing is that "the kids" are picking up the comparisons
between the movie and Margaret Haddix's book (Running Out of Time) also.

Reading through the blogs (teen reader blogs, movie blogs, etc.) many YA's
are talking about the movie and stating that it reminded them of Haddix's
book---most are enjoying the fact that it appears that the book has been
made into a movie but it would be interesting to see how the copyright
issues are interpreted.
