Why don't we start with picture books? After I have compiled that list, we
can do other genres. And since we already have the Caldecott and the award
for best story (can't remember the name off-hand), why don't we just do best
overall book. The top ten picture books that must be included in a good
elementary library.

If we are going thru with this we need to set some parameters.=20

Will we use picture books? Young adult literature? Easy chapter books?

And will we use best story and illustrations, or just story, or just =
illustrations?

Picture books are my favorite category, but majority rules!
