Hi All, One of our Library Techs has made a PowerPoint by scanning all of the pictures in a book. She shows the PowerPoint as she reads the book. She is using it the way we more mature folks used to use an opaque projector, when we put the whole book under the lens so that everyone could see it. What do you think? Because she is scanning the entire book, is this an abuse of copyright? Or, is it okay since she is giving proper attribution to the author and the illustrator because she is introducing, reading, and then discussing the book itself, and just using the PowerPoint presentation to enrich the lesson? Thanks for your feedback.
