Hello LM_Netters! I had a call earlier today with a question about setting up the printer to create wonderfully uniform and neat spine labels for all the books in the library. The labels would need to be large enough for the young students to recognize (and for the old librarians to see too). Our libraries use Microsoft Word 2000 as the word processor. Our printers are several different types, but each building has a very snazzy Xerox machine (if we can easily put labels in the Xerox?) Using the in-library printers would be easiest, I'm sure. Please tell us what you advise for use in the library - what brand labels do you normally purchase? Do you set the printer for the specific brand? Any that's easiest to use? Please respond off list at curl_cj@elps.k12.mi.us or claudettecurl@comcast.net. Thanks so much, -- Claudette Curl, M.L.I.S.
