Dear collogues,
The first week to submit your list of books is almost over. I was very
encouraged by the initial response but I have not gotten many lists in the
last couple of days. We were really hoping for at least 150 lists but have
only received 84 to date. I know it is hard to narrow your list of
favorites down to 10 - just keep in mind that someone else will probably
submit the books you leave off your list. You might think of it this way.
You have built a new library and they only left enough money in the budget
to buy 10 picture books. (It could happen ;) ) Which 10 books would you
buy? I am urging you to please put on your thinking caps and submit your
list sometime in the next week. We need at least 66 more people to
participate - won't you please help us out?
