I am planning on subbing for a librarian who quit right before Christmas.  This is 
a Pre-K through 2nd grade campus.  This school has kids come for 45 minutes except 
for Pre-K who come for 30 min.  I was wondering if any of you have this same 
situation and what you do with the classes for that long a time.  I planned to read 
to them and then let them do some kind of follow up activity while they check out 
books.  I was really more concerned about the 2nd grade and wondered if this was 
too easy for them?  Could anyone share what you usually do for these age 
groups--Pre-K --2nd grade?
