Thank you for asking ... I'm in Thailand ... but live up in the north
(Chiangmai) well away from the coast ..   so am safe.

If you do know of people in Thailand then a good source of updated
information is the Phuket Gazette (online) http://www.phuketgazette.net/

They are collating a page with names of missing people but I'm not sure
if it is being kept current so if you do see a name then it is best to
also follow up/check by other means.

I am usually a bit of a sun & beach guy but we decided to stay at home
